Hugo M Toro, MD, PA

Hugo M Toro, MD, PA, is a highly experienced board-certified internist who has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. He is pleased to welcome new and returning patients to his practice in Katy, Texas, where he provides exceptional primary care and internal medicine services for adolescents and adults. As a native of Colombia, Dr. Toro speaks fluent Spanish, as do all the staff at his practice.

Dr. Toro graduated in 1989 from La Universidad Del Quindío in Armenia, Colombia, with his medical degree. He practiced as a General Practitioner in Colombia before coming to the United States. In 1994, he undertook his residency training in internal medicine at St John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. Dr. Toro’s experience includes involvement in numerous research projects, among them studies into diabetes and cholesterol. He’s been in private practice since 1997.

Dr. Toro is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Jaime M Fierro, IMG, APRN, FNP-C

Jaime Fierro is a board-certified nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANPCB) and an International Medical Graduate. With more than 25 years of medical experience. He is a local resident of Sealy and is pleased to provide medical care to adolescents and adults. As a native of Colombia, Jaime Fierro, is fluent in spanish.

He graduated medical school in 1996 from Escuela Colombiana de Medicina Universidad El Bosque in Bogota. After graduating medical school he finished a masters in Occupational Health from Universidad El Bosque in 1998. Jaime, immigrated to the United States to pursue his career in healthcare. For the last 5 years he has worked exclusively in an Internal Medicine setting, providing medical management for both acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Jaime Fierro, brings experience and compassion to our practice and those traits are reflected in his approach towards patient care. Jaime Fierro considers himself a health advisor “I love practicing medicine and there are so many aspects of the science that enthrall me. But the most satisfying, is watching a patient make positive progress to a healthier lifestyle”, said Jaime Fierro IMG, FNP-C.

In his spare time, Jaime enjoys outdoor activities, going to church and sporting events with his family.
